Two New Locations Now Open
We are excited to announce that as of this November 2023 Harness Energy has added TWO new locations to its Australian operations – bringing forward a host of new services for our clients in more locations across Australia. This is a strategic decision that means we can increase our services for clients with more geographic locations given that many of our clients have national and/or inter-state presence around Australia. We will deliver our services when and where needed. In accordance with a constantly evolving market, the acquisition of these new locations also enables us to leverage our ecosystem of services across the medium to high risk industry sectors, trades and professions.
This development has been made possible by the purchase of the sites, infrastructure and assets previously owned by Competency Training through its Site Skills Training (SST) brand in Gladstone, QLD and Belmont, Perth WA. Competency Training is owned by Verbrec Group, an ASX Listed company. The purchase covers all relevant assets and so staff, trainers, courses, equipment and facilities are transitioned to Harness Training ownership meaning clients in those locations will be able to benefit from continuity of support from the same staff and facilities.
In addition to Harness Training’s exciting locations in Toowoomba, Murrarie/Brisbane, Chinchilla, the two new locations are
- Lot 18 and 19 South Trees Drive in Gladstone, QLD, 4680
- 72 – 80 Belgravia Street, Belmont, Perth WA 6104.

What this means for you
With the new locations clients will immediately have access to well over 20 additional training rooms and a plethora of high risk training courses with equipment that is ready and available on-site for high risk public courses. Perth has 17 training rooms, in-house high risk equipment including cranes, EWP’s and Forklifts not to mention scaffolding equipment and simulator facilities. With the inclusion of Gladstone’s 6 training rooms and associated training equipment, our course expansion will now include high risk licence and equipment courses such as Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding and various Cranes.
