Frequently Asked Questions
4WD Training is focused on teaching you real-life 4WD skills – however differences exist depending on if you are driving a work 4WD or your own for recreational purposes. Special knowledge, processes apply in the workplace when using work vehicles and this translates through to actual driving skills as well. As such the 4WD Training course we deliver is a nationally accredited course and is aimed at those who are in work with a substantial component of driver training of 4WD vehicles.
This is a more involved 4WD course. It includes elements involving varied driving of 4WD’s across different terrains – it has a stronger focus on actual driving compared with Operate vehicles in the field. This is because this course is aimed at those who will need to use a 4WD for work and are most likely to take it into more remote/off-road and potentially more challenging conditions – where the knowledge acquired during this course will be valuable.
